for the Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec. She practices in civil litigation, primarily in medical and hospital liability.<\/p><p>Before joining the firm, Me Lata was involved in several research projects, primarily in administrative and health law. She concentrated specifically on the ethical issues surrounding exceptional drugs and devoted her master\u2019s thesis to the concept of \u201cmedical necessity\u201d in the context of healthcare coverage in Quebec and Canada. These projects led her to publish scientific articles and present her work at numerous national and international conferences.<\/p><p>During her studies, she was a fellow at the Department of Equity, Ethics, and Policy in the School of Population and Global Health at McGill University. This fellowship allowed her to participate in specialized seminars that enriched her interdisciplinary understanding of public policy issues, particularly in the field of health.<\/p><p>In addition to her practice, she is a researcher at the Paul-Andr\u00e9 Cr\u00e9peau Centre for Private and Comparative Law at McGill University.
