href=\"https:\/\/www.registredesactionscollectives.quebec\/en\/Consulter\/ApercuDemande?NoDossier=500-06-001240-239\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">class action lawsuit<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was filed against two owners of a building in Montreal. The lawsuit seeks compensation for all individuals who were exposed to asbestos during work carried out in the <\/span><b>Crane building, located at 2240-2250 Pitt Street and 3800 Saint-Patrick Street<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>The plaintiff, Caroline Derosnay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, was living in the building at the time of the work. <\/span><b>Attorney Julia Garzon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of MedL\u00e9gal is representing Ms. Derosnay and the group of affected individuals.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The class action seeks to hold <\/span><b>owners Mark and Phillip Kaufman<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>as well as the company 9875212 Canada Inc.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, liable for damages suffered by residents and users of the building.
