Me Leroux acted as co-counsel in the Gladu-Truchon trial, during which his team succeeded in invalidating the provisions of the Criminal Code that required an individual to be at the end of their life in order to have access to medical assistance in dying. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Context and evolution of medical assistance in dying in Quebec and Canada<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During their discussion, Me Leroux and Katherine Provost provide context on the medical assistance in dying law and its history.
